Members have the option to permanently alter costumes. All permanent alterations require written approval. This includes major fit alterations, use of glue, paint, distressing, etc...

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
One time processing fee of $15 that will be credited towards your first rental.
Company Membership is based on annual operating budget, tiers based on League of Chicago Theatre Membership rates.
Emerging Theatres: Operating budget less than $50,000 annually (can only do this for 3 years before “graduating”): $50/year
Operating budget $50,000 – $75,000: $100/year
$75,001 – $150,000: $150/year
$150,001 – $250,000: $200/year
$250,001 – $750,000: $250/year
$750,001 – $1,000,000: $300/year
$1,000,001 +: $500/year
Individual Designer Memberships: Independent designers could purchase a membership for: 10 hours of Volunteer time/year OR $150/year OR a combination of these (ex: 5 hours and $75)

We are grateful for your donation! You will receive a discount to use on your next rental as a token of our appreciation.
Member organizations: 8% additional off next rental when you donate costumes from a show closing (or other “significant” donation). Never expires, only 1 donation discount per invoice.
Non Members: 5% off total rental cost for show closing or other “significant” donation. Good for 6 months from time of donation.
Individual companies and costume designers waive their intellectual property rights to their costumes. We will not rent out the costumes as a “package” and only will do “a la carte” rentals so another company’s design will not look like yours even if it uses some of the same pieces.
Donated costumes must be cleaned prior to donation. We will take anything and everything relating to costumes, then we sort and store, sell, or re-donate according to the needs of our stock at any given time.
